Spring, normally the time of year when everythings light, airy and rosey with flowers everywhere from gardens to head scarfs... well not this spring, colour is on overload this spring. Over-load. Think bigger, brighter and bolder than you've ever gone before and times it by 3. Maybe even 4. Thats how bright spring will be this year.

The Trend Report is here to translate the trends from catwalk ready to streetside ready. Trending & reporting... let's go glamourazzi's.

How bold can you go? Over at Fendi they want our lips to be brighter than a 12 oclock sun and who are we to argue... So the way to wear this look is as follows: keep the skin canvas flawless but clean, so think Mac Studio Fix Fluid applied on top of a Smashbox Primed skin and powdered down with a Bobbi Brown Translucent Powder. Begin by prepping the lips with Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner and then applying a layer of concealer over the lips such as Mac Studio Finish in one or two shades lighter than your skin. Now to get the lips to the stand-out shade + shape we love over here at glamourazzi apply an amazing Lip Liner in a shade like Bait by Illamasqua all over the lips + layer on top the Illamasqua Matte lipstick in Corrupt for full effect. You will notice these lips are bright but no brash and this is because with these neon style colours you are advised to steer clear of the gloss. Think Matte Matte and more matte. Keep the brows naked, the lashes full and doe-eyed with a mascara like Mac Haute & Naughty and lightly line the eyes with Maybelline Kohl Pencil. Trés Magnifique!

Eyes, eyes and more eyes. This trend is picking and mixing the most beautiful hue's of each colour shade and combining them to create one kaleidescoped look of colour. You can be daring an wear contrasting shades on the lips and the eyes or keep a focus on the eyes alone by wearing the pop of colour with bare skin & lips. The only rule you have to adhere to with this look is as follows: Matte Matte Matte, not a frost, irridescence or shimmer in sight.
Fair Skin Pick 'n' Mix colour picks: Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow - Trollop, Toxic, Yes!, Fame + Echo
Mixed Race Skin Pick 'n' Mix colour picks: Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow - Savage, Angst, Sister + Yearn
Asian Skin Pick 'n' Mix colour picks: Illamasqua Power Eyeshadow - Mellodrama, Tempt, Spill + Fatal
Black Skin Pick 'n' Mix colour picks: Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow - Virus, Vulgar, Predator, Preen + Sister

More is more is more is more and much more again. Pheww... I warned you it was all about colour this season and this trend is no exception. Picture Bianca Jagger at Studio 54 and then add some 21st century slickness to the look and there you have it Studio 50-more. Geniusly beautiful. Louis Vuitton have it nailed.. pure intense pigmented glamour. TIP: Apply 3 coats of a lip stain such as Benefit Benetint onto your lips before applying a blood red for that bleeding lip glory that Vuitton were championing for S/S11.

Mama africa with the beautifully pearlised naturally clear skin ... we salute you. Contour is the name of the game with this trend and glossy, pearlescent skin with accents of dusky reds, orange's + even purples are the way forward. MAC have nailed this trend amazingly with their CremeBlendBlush collection for S/S11 which contains the perfect shades for the contour queen/king inside you. Unleash the beast.

Keep your eyes open for the hair trends of S/S 2011 reported here very soon.
